This was the least expensive place we stayed during our six nights in Scotland, yet it had the best breakfast! We stayed in a lovely room with an ensuite bathroom, and had full Scottish breakfasts before heading out to hike. The owner is friendly, accommodating, and gives great directions. There was some noise to be heard from other guests getting ready for bed, but that's not out of place in a house. Lovely stay!

Thank you very much for your review. We're very happy to hear your enjoyed your stay with us and that the room and the breakfast were to your liking. We're very sorry to hear that other guests were a bit noisy. It happened that when you stayed we had some young folk who like to stay out a bit late. We did speak to them, asking them to be as quiet as possible when coming back, and we know they did their best:)
Please note, however, this is a very unusual situation for us. Almost all of our guests like to get to bed at a reasonable hour and therefore don't have this impact on others.

There is nothing fancy about this B&B. It is, basic rooms with utilitarian furniture and very good beds. It is clean and very comfortable, with a guest recreation area if you choose to use it. Neil, the owner, goes out of his way to make sure things are in order. He went out of his way to make sure I got a double bed to accommodate my tall frame. Thanks. He also loves a good discussion. We ended up comparing the good, the bad and the ugly of our respective political systems. Very enjoyable. Breakfast is an assortment of cold cereals and other items and/or a full Scottish with eggs, bacon, mushrooms and tomato. Delicious. The price is also very reasonable for what you get. Overall, a very good place to stay. Would recommend highly.

We had a good overnight stay in the Guest House, great value for money, clean and tidy room, good shower, everything you need, kettle and coffee, Television... Breakfast was excellent, Cereal, juice, tea and coffee, full English breakfast or whatever you decide on they will take your order in advance.
Would definitely stay again, and would gladly recommend it, next to shop, information centre and a Restaurant.

Room Tip: Stayed in room 5, facing the back at the Co-op, very quiet at night

Arrived late after tyre blew out on A82 where I also lost my credit card. Neil then drove me back to spot where I dropped the card (near Tyndrum) at 11 pm during a snow blizzard to locate said card. Neil and his wife then let us stay on until 3pm the next day until our courtesy car arrived. Can't thank this wonderful couple enough. Looking forwards to return soon.

Hello! It's just a pity we couldn't find your card. But those stags in the middle of the road made the trip worth while! After the initial fright they gave us! Thanks very much for your find review and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Road trip up through the Highlands with a few great stops. This B&B was perfectly placed off the main road with a grocery store and a fantastic restaurant across the street that has a great pub attached to it. Family rooms are perfect for up to three kids to bed down very comfortably. Plenty of comfort with a downstairs living room and dinning room. A short distance to trails and the loch is so close. The owners are very friendly and personal with great customer service. Actually in 20 years of traveling with my family this was the best experience with a B&B. Do stop here.
