This pretty stone building is tucked away down a lane and is peaceful. most of the rooms have been upgraded but we had room 12 which was not, so a bit less comfortable. The staff provide a high level of service and were charming. The real strength is the restaurant in which we ate every night on DBB basis which we would recommend. In room wifi was erratic but goon in the lounges and bars.

From our arrival to us leaving, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The children were made welcome and time allowed for them to choose their meals.
There was a choice of real ales plus the usual standard beers available.
The lunch menu was standard fare but very tasty when it arrived whilst the prices were mid range too.
Would I return, of course!
We visited here with friends and our two dogs. We were able to go in the bar area with our dogs. The very nice waitress even brought biscuits for our dogs whilst we were having drinks and a lovely meal. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made very welcome. We saw that this was a pet friendly hotel and made the decision to,visit on that as I would not leave our dogs in a car.
My husband and I have just returned from a weekend break at Creebridge House Hotel.
The welcome from Frances when we checked in on Friday was an indication of the warmth of hospitality that we had from all the staff.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful during Dinner and Breakfast on both days and Kenny the barman was superb.
Both nights were very busy in the Bar and restaurant, the food was very good and a there was a wide variety of dishes on the menu.
The bedroom was well fitted out with a great view over the garden.
The only downside was the music on the Saturday evening from a 60th birthday party in the garden room below our bedroom. But that's the chance you take when staying over a weekend in a hotel with a function room.
It was a lovely weekend away and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone travelling to the area.
We visited for an evening meal and drove there, although it is easily walkable from the town centre. There is a large car park.
We were booked into the bar, as it takes dogs. The menu was large and varied, with a mix of traditional and newer dishes. Everyone enjoyed their choices, although my flatiron 'rump' was overcooked and tough (unfortunately I accepted the waitress' recommendation of medium, but flatiron should really be rare or medium rare and it showed). It was also nowhere near the stated 10oz; when I mentioned this it was casually dismissed with the usual "well it shrinks a bit in cooking". Not 3oz it doesn't!
Despite that, everyone enjoyed the meal, the prices were average, the service was good and the waitresses were all very friendly and helpful. So it's definitely worth a try, just avoid the flatiron steak!
everything you expect and staff very friendly, have a smokers hut outside which is actually quite pleasent not just a shed lol, food is superb, lovely rooms bars gardens, look it up,, would be best,,, to make your own mind but defo the best place I think to stay
