First of all your host kathy is really nice, she works so hard to give you the best possible stay. The twin room we had was very good, with a powerfull shower and nice beds. The quality of toiletries was way above what I was expecting. The breakfast was seved in a lovely dining room. The quality of the produce was first class, all freshly set out and a cooked breakfast made there and then.
the offer of something different for breakfast was also offered, what a lovely gesture. There is no cutting corners for quality at this B&B. Also very good free wifi in room, take note large chain hotels.
I recommend ths spindrift, you will not be dissapointed.

Room Tip: sea view are double rooms

This is a lovely, well-appointed house on the prettiest street in Ullapool, looking out to Loch Broom. The rooms are impeccably clean and very comfortable, with big skylight windows that let in loads of light and provide gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside. The whole house is decorated in a modern style with original artwork on the walls that give it an elegant touch.

We had two rooms--a double and a room with two twin beds. The beds are comfortable and the shower had plenty of water pressure and hot water. The en-suite bathrooms are tiny but have everything you need, including all your bath products. Each room has a small TV, a closet or wardrobe, nightstands with lamps, a hot water kettle and mugs, and complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate and biscuits.

Kathy is a wonderful hostess who suggested restaurants and points of interest in the area. She also wasn't bothered when we didn't go for the full Scottish breakfast each morning (which was a little heavy for every-day eating after 10 days in Scotland!). She emptied the trash, made the beds, and tidied the rooms each day while we were out. We could not have been happier with our time here.

Simply the best of the B&B's we experienced in Scotland, neither aloof nor intrusive, location a comfortable walk from centre, breakfast just very good, room unremarkable but perfectly maintained. In short, professional.

We stay at Spindrift for 3 nights. Kath the owner was very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless clean. The bathroom had a variety of nice toiletries for use. Our room had a beautiful over the Loch. Breakfast was excellent with the best scrambled eggs I've ever tasted. My gluten free diet was addressed with no problems.

Than you Kathy

Stayed 3 very comfortable nights and will definitely return when we revisit the highlands.
Our room was the large double - perfect if you're staying for a few nights as lots of space and a bath. The bed was very comfortable, good facilities in the room and bathroom, lots of useful info on things to do, and the road is nice and quiet but only a 5 min walk from the village centre. Lovely breakfast too.
Kath was welcoming and attentive and made us feel very at home and relaxed.
