This is a lovely, well-appointed house on the prettiest street in Ullapool, looking out to Loch Broom. The rooms are impeccably clean and very comfortable, with big skylight windows that let in loads of light and provide gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside. The whole house is decorated in a modern style with original artwork on the walls that give it an elegant touch.
We had two rooms--a double and a room with two twin beds. The beds are comfortable and the shower had plenty of water pressure and hot water. The en-suite bathrooms are tiny but have everything you need, including all your bath products. Each room has a small TV, a closet or wardrobe, nightstands with lamps, a hot water kettle and mugs, and complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate and biscuits.
Kathy is a wonderful hostess who suggested restaurants and points of interest in the area. She also wasn't bothered when we didn't go for the full Scottish breakfast each morning (which was a little heavy for every-day eating after 10 days in Scotland!). She emptied the trash, made the beds, and tidied the rooms each day while we were out. We could not have been happier with our time here.
