This is a lovely beach with lovely surroundings. It was a dull day when we were there but still beautiful. We enjoyed exploring around it as we waited for the sun to come out but it didn’t unfortunately. Would be fabulous on a sunny day. Parking is tight here and there is a chance you would not get a space. Lots of camper vans. Toilets available.

We had already visited several Harris beaches this holiday but hadn't quite had the weather to get out to Huisinis. When the sun broke through mid afternoon, we jumped in the car and drove the long single track road. We were lucky enough that the weather improved immeasurably and we were greeted with aquamarine seas and blue skies. It was considerably quieter, as expected, than the more accessible beaches and, in part, due to the fact the weather had been so awful earlier in the day. The children enjoyed playing cricket on the beach and jumping in the waves. The facilities are excellent. The drive back was even better because the views towards Luskentyre had improved so much. Well worth a visit.

Who need the Caribbean beaches when the beautiful tranquil waters of the Huisinis beach exists as a little know UK treasure. Excellent facilities and views to revel in.

The facilities out here provided by the local crofters is superb. As it is a charity they make no charge and rely on donations. Please if you make use of the facilities in anyway, donate. The location and beach are superb. Again, Please Donate!
