Not much going in Barmouth in October but the hotel was clean, comfortable and convenient. Plenty of parking and a friendly welcome. Only issue was with the shower but understand that they are trying to resolve this which is a problem when fully booked. Would recommend it.

Dear Sniper12015, thank you for your comments, particularly in regard to the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel, together with the welcome which we hope engenders the right atmosphere from the minute you arrive. As you note, we are working to resolve the water pressure issue we currently have, and thank you for your understanding of this matter.

Just spent 2nights with you and found everything about it just charming!
Lovely warm welcome from Steve and your waiters(I'm sorry I didn't get their names) are a credit to you
The food was delicious and our room had the bonus of a balcony with fantastic views
Would definitely return!

Stunning hotel, from the minute we stepped into the foyer and was greeted by the manager, to the beautiful room with sea views. Staff were very polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely and p!entiful. We had dinner at the hotel both nights as after the first night, my husband (who usually moans about food) insisted we eat there again. Compliments to the chef!! Hotel was spotless throughout, and all in all, a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Room eleven has four poster bed and sea views

Good hotel for a couple of nights. Cosy lounge and restaurant with view over Cardigan Bay. Room had same stunning view. The room was baking hot. I kept the window open all night - and the sound of breaking waves sent me gently to sleep. A 5 minute walk into town (but uphill coming back so not the best choice for anyone with mobility problems). Good place to stay for visiting Harlech. Port Meirion about 40 minutes away.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased that you enjoyed your 2-night stay with us, felt cosy in the lounge and, like many before you, appreciated the timeless view from our restaurant. Our heating is not normally on all night as it is on a timer to go off at 11pm. We’re having it checked to make sure that it’s not malfunctioning. Nevertheless, we’re glad that you managed to be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves.

We had a room (#11) that was not content with one stunning view but had two. The quality of the whole hotel was excellent. The service from Vaz & Romeo was exceptional. All under the guidance of Steve. Next trip here we come to this palace of a hotel.
