My sister and I stayed 1 night in the Meadow Room and hated to leave. I would make a trip back to Wales and stay here a week if I could. Glen and Nev have made it their mission to be welcoming, accommodating and delightful. From my first email enquiry to our good-byes, Glen was most thoughtful and charming. The attention to detail in the room was amazing. From the bottle of sherry to the bedside chocolates, from the eat-in kitchen/dining area to the washcloths (yes washcloths!) in the bathroom, from the king sized bed to the hot water bottles for our comfort, everything was perfect.

We arrived after dark (got a little lost) so we did not have time to appreciate the views or the area until we left. We needed dinner so Glen called ahead to a local pub where we found an accommodating owner who fed us at 9:00 pm. We then had a great night's sleep followed by french press coffee, juice, toast, croissants and farm-fresh eggs and bacon. A peaceful way to begin the day - breakfast in my jammies watching the sheep and cows graze outside the window. This B & B is quaint, luxurious, modern and charming all rolled into one.

Thank you for a wonderful stay Glen and Nev!

A wonderful room with such a view , everything you could wish for in the room . When we left some valuable jewellery Glen informed us immediately , and returned the items to my brother in Builth , I had not even missed them ! When the TV would not work Nev fixed it promptly . Both Glen and Nev were very kind and helpful . Vic and June

Thank you June & Vic for taking time out to review us on T.A.
We have since your visit printed out instructions for 'how to you use the sky t.v.' which should be an advantage to all our guests.
Look after yourselves.

If you want the best it has to be Smithfield Farm B & B
The view from the meadow suite is over open fields towards the welsh hills in total privacy.
Breakfast is just so different.
Ordered as you requested and delivered to your room at the time you requested. Patio doors open in the morning sun, what a start to the day.
Absolutely spotlessly cean with all the extras you could imagine.
Homemade muffins, chocolates etc every day.
Nev & Glen work tirelessly to see to your needs.

Room Tip: The neadow suite we think has the best privacy and view

Smithfield Farm B&B surpassed our already high expectations. We took the two rooms for our party of three, and they were both tastefully and comfortably furnished, with many thoughtful extra touches, including home baked goodies each day, and a carafe of sherry, replenished daily. A full breakfast was delivered to our room each morning, piping hot, in huge wicker baskets. We spent a lot of time taking photos from our rooms and private patios of the breathtaking pastoral views of fields, woodland, and hills beyond. Young calves (very friendly) grazing in the field only just beyond our patio were an added delight. Red kites putting on a display by circling overhead were an extra bonus too. We only stayed for two nights, but would love to have stayed longer. We will be back! Our hosts, Glen and Nev couldnt have been more helpful with suggestions and recommendations of restaurants and places to visit. They deserve all the good reviews that they have received on TripAdvisor.

Thank you for your kind review, we all enjoyed your stay with us, most of all the baby calves.
Hoping to see you again in the near future when it gets a little hot to stay in Bermuda....
