Might be good for extended stays. The suites feature full size kitchens; you can rent supplies (like a fork) from the hotel.
Beds are comfortable.
Suites are large with nice views.
The neighborhood was upscale within reasonable walking distance of restaurants.
Superficially clean but the room was never restocked with all supplies like towels.
Left dirty drinking glasses but cleaned the ashtray which we didn`t use.
Elevator did not seem that safe - usually took the stairs.
Maintenance in general lacking - air conditioner was very noisy, room decor was outdated, etc.
Staff apathetic and sometimes quite unhelpful. No assistance with many simple questions; treated us as an inconvenience. Wouldn`t let us borrow a pencil.
Web site says it is near thermal waters and the beach but it isn`t. Our hired (for 3 hours) driver wouldn`t drive to either place.
Breakfast Manager we nicknamed Ms. Scowly pushed us out of the way to get to the morning coffee.
Continental breakfast featured the food from previous night including moldy bread.
Pool was very poorly maintained and not clean.
We have traveled a lot in South America but never to VZ. When we return we will stay at the nearby but higher priced Intercontinental or someplace else.More
