Spent two incredible nights in these wonderful rooms, just enjoying the grounds. The cabins are all built from aged wood in the traditional style- some of the most authentic architecture we saw during our visit to India! You could almost spend your whole time studying the buildings.

It was easy enough to walk to the beach, but we found ourselves lounging happily in the chairs around the cabins. It was a welcome respite from hectic India. Best of all was the kitchen: the chef(s) had whatever we wanted, which in our case was authentic Kerala food.

Well worth a visit just to see the place, never mind the food and beaches.

Room Tip: Room 514 is near the kitchen.

Stayed in a cabin for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Travelling with a 1 year old can be somewhat challenging, but with the help of Bruce and other staff we were able to get meals tailored to our dietary needs all the while eating typical Kerala fare. Isolated and private, winding down is the name of the game here. Cabins beautifully appointed with antique furnishings, except for the modern bathrooms and air conditioning, a welcomed exception:) well worth the trip.

A perfect place for a weekend get away. we are from Ernakulam and when we think of a holiday or family tour, we usually think of going out of state. But this time we choose Heritage Marari, which is not that far. No doubt, our choice was good, had a very relaxing holiday. Its in a village environment with all the modern and clean facilities. Our kids enjoyed a lot. Beach is at a walkable distance. Food we had there was very tasty. Especially the Ediyappam and egg curry and thenga paal.. the taste is still lingering in the mouth. The fish and other sea food they prepare there are very fresh. Bruce and Famy are very friendly. surely will go again.

Heritage Marari is a cozy place well worth recommending.
The owners Bruce and Dilip are very nice and friendly and the food they serve tastes amazing!
I also highly recomend the "bird-watching boat-trip" they offer because it is magic!
I would love to return one day.
