We were back for our biannual visit to the Menuhin festival in Gstaad and the Mutti family were as welcoming as ever.
The rooms are basic Swiss chalet style with the nicest at the front with balcony and view (we didn't get lucky this year) power showers are great.
We thought the food improved with good breakfasts - each trip I educate the Menuhin School kids into the delights of Bircher Muesli... By the end they are scraping the bowls. Really excellent flamenkuche for one lunch. Lots of fresh salads too.
Saanen has got ever so posh since our last visit and is now much nicer than Gstaad proper - and less touristy. Of course there's great w asking in the summer and the music festival right nearby.
Back in 2017 and looking forward to it.
