This is one exclusive lodge in chilean patagonia. Every detail has been taking into acount for the comfort and relax of their guests. Rooms are huge, with excellent beding, desk area with sofa, the bathroom counts with seperate shower and tub and excellent amenities, and the views from each balcony are unique. Food options are top notch from breakfast service to dinner, the quality of the product has been well selected for every meal. The other services like indoor outdoor pools, sauna, hottub and hamman are worthy to try. Staff is really attentive and very welcoming, they made us felt at home.
This is a place to be experience with every sense and come back countless times!

My wife and I with our 3 teenagers stayed at the Uman Lodge for 4 nights during the last week of March 2017. I cannot tell you how utterly fantastic the Uman Lodge is. The rooms are incredible with some of the finest views and modern amenities I have ever enjoyed. The dining facilities, library/lounge and pool/spa areas shares equally fantastic views. The spa is new, modern and well furnished with a heated indoor and outdoor pool, whirlpool, gym, sauna, steam room and massage offerings. The food is fantastic starting with a large European style breakfast, lunch with both formal and informal offerings as well as dinner menu featuring a variety of fish, steak and other local specialties. One night we enjoyed a Chilean bbq which featured an entire lamb which has been roasted for hours within Uman's outdoor bbq pit. The staff is unbelievable. I would really like to thank our new friends, Gerardo and Angela. We drove in from Esquel Airport on the Argentina side and were met by Angela at the border who assisted getting us across the Argentina and Chilean border areas. The attention never stopped. Angela guided us through the Uman Lodge farm (the farm provides the lodge most of the vegetables, fruits and meats representing everything from homemade jams, fresh juices and fresh salads!), picked us up on the river bed when our rafting was completed amongst a number of other kind favors. Angela's husband, Gerardo, went as far as providing my family personal fishing gear which we utilized during a day of fly fishing. Speaking of some of the best fly fishing in the world, we also rafted for 2 days. We are seasoned whitewater rafters and have done some of the finest fivers in the world including the Colorado and the Pacuare. Without question, for a 1 day experience the Futaleufu is the best river I have ever rafted. My hat goes off to Patagonia Elements as well as David and Christian, our wonderful river guides.

I could go on and on about Uman. I have stayed in some of the finest places in the world including 2 notable 5 star facilities in Buenos Aires and the Mendoza region during my recent visit. I knew far less about Uman than the other more recognized properties before my recent visit. Looking back, I enjoyed Uman more deeply than the rest. The facility, food, excursions and its' people make it a diamond. Take the 2.5 hour drive from Esquel and you will find a little slice of heaven.

Room tip: All of the rooms are wonderful and possess stunning views of the Patagonia landscape.

Uman Lodge is a unique place perhaps the right word to be Magical. When you enter the hotel huge windows catch your eye it was built high on a cliff, overlooking the union of two rivers Espolon and Futaleufú. You can already imagine a spectacle of sight!

The tranquility of the place is something that leaves its guests superwill. Being in touch with nature is priceless every day the view changed. Had one morning from the bedroom window we saw the clouds almost on the hotel terrace and we ran to see that nature show better. Every day was different.

Rio Futaleufú is located 600 meters away and Lonconao Lake can be reached in 15 minutes by car from the hotel. The town of Futa as it is called there is 6km away.

Many rides to be done around Uman Lodge were doing a Horse Ride on the Espolon River it was super beautiful. But you can still go rafting on the Futaleufu River with challenging places, hiking and relaxing near the rivers enjoying a pic nic are many options.

After many walks nothing better to relax in the Lodge's spa which has a super heated indoor pool and an outside area to catch sun with another pool and Jacuzzi.

The rooms are amazing beyond comfortable. The views are amazing.

This hotel in Patagonia is the perfect combination for an unforgettable trip for nature lovers in Futa you will find several plaques written A landscape painted by God''and those who have passed by here can say that the region is very special.

We stayed 4 nights and could easily stay another night. Excellent service and friendly staff always super available.

We went with our family and stay 3 nights. Very nice view over the valley. Private beach over Futaleufu river with white sand. Great place for fly fishing, they have some supplies to sell. Great restaurant, quite fancy for kids but they offered an option...
