Walked from the bottom with a 4 year old and 9 year old. As others have said, the cobbles you walk on at the top part can be slippy so wear sensible footwear. It took us between 30-45 mins to get there with photo stops and without hurrying ourselves. It really is worth stopping to appreciate the view, it's beautiful. Cafe at the top seems reasonably priced and we enjoyed some ice creams before making our way back down.

We did the hike in the afternoon. The last part can be slippery if it has been raining or your shoes are not suited for the purpose. Possible to buy sodas and ice cream at the top before you go down. Not that strenuous - my son ran up....

Decided on a whim to cycle up a rather stiff assent to see Santuari del Puig de Maria, got to 3/4 way up tarmac / concrete road turned to cobbles & gravel, so we carried our bikes up the remaining 150m or so to what can only be described as a stunning view over Pollença, Port Pollença & surroundings. The church itself is stunning and an amazing feat of building in itself, worth the hour & half walk up or 20min bike up (take trainers for the rest of the way) walking in cycling shoes not much fun great little café there as well

A beautiful site, a convent used for retreats. The walk up is only for fit, active walkers but the climb is well worth it because the view is spectacular.

While the walk is quite heavy going due to being at the top of the hill, with a lot of distance having to be walked (cars can only go so far), the views at the top of Pollensa and surrounding countryside as well as the monastery itself make it well worth it, particularly if the weather is good.
