My first trip to the new Loren but it wont be the last. The Loren is simply amazing, hip & chic! This hotel has an incredible vibe! Service is outstanding (especially Gihan in the restaurants & Cole front desk!!) Food is excellent with a unique choice of options.
Beds you don’t want to get out of but do to start your day with a yoga session with Todd!! My new happy place and I will be back!

We are sadly flying home from Bermuda at this moment, but we are savoring our memories from celebrating our 15th anniversary at the Loren. I had never been to Bermuda before and had a tough time deciding where to stay. The Loren was completely perfect for us.

The location is excellent. It's about 15 minutes from the airport, and right on the ocean. The beach is small -- not good for long walks -- but that's okay. There are so many nearby that the size didn't matter at all. We spent a lot of time hanging out in the heated pools, watching and feeling the surf spray up into the pool. Incredible.

The food was outstanding, although pricey -- I think that's true everywhere on Bermuda. We ate at Maree on the night of our anniversary and we are still reeling from the $350+ bill. It was good, but $350? We ate at the Pink Beach club for our other dinners and really enjoyed it. The setting is actually nicer than the Maree, I think, because it is right on the water. The menu was excellent, especially for lunch.

The grounds and buildings are spectacular. The design of the interior was phenomenal; very modern but yet Bermudian. We spent a lot of time on the private terrace, listening to the waves and relaxing in the very plush bathrobes.

There is a small kids club, but really, this hotel doesn't have the right vibe for kids. There were very few there. (If we return to Bermuda with our children, which I hope we do at some point, I would probably choose another hotel where there would be more kids around.) I specifically picked the Loren because we were looking for an adult getaway, and it didn't disappoint. We met many honeymooners and other couples and we were all thrilled with our accommodations.

One thing I wish I had known in advance: you can reserve electric cars to rent, but the company only allocates a small number to each resort. We rented a scooter for our trip which was really fun, but a little hair-raising at times. The little car would have been more secure, I think.

Thank you to the incredibly warm staff and Bermudians we met. We have never experienced such a genuinely friendly welcome in our travels before. People offered to help us constantly -- once when we were at a stoplight, the guy behind us leaned out of his car and offered help with directions! Amazing.

My only gripe is that on our last night, the hotel was hosting a fundraiser for the Bermuda art museum. We had an early flight this morning, and being kept awake by the DJ and announcers till 11:00 did not put me in a good mood as we left the hotel in the dark. I wish the hotel had let us know about this event, and perhaps put us in a room that was not adjacent to the Pink Beach Club where it was taking place. It may not have been so loud elsewhere.

If you're looking for a trip with kids, I would look elsewhere. Anyone else: book the Loren.

Room Tip: All rooms have an ocean view and private terrace.

Don't believe a single negative review about The Loren. This hotel is by far the best hotel on the island. First... it's brand new! Second ... it has a private beach and a pool and restaurant right on the ocean. But.... better than #1 and #2... the staff is the most amazing team. Our housekeeper hugged us goodbye. Demi and Cole will help you plan your stay, restaurants, car service or anything else you might need. The rooms are modern, comfortable beds, modern shower and tub set up. Every room is on the ocean. Wake up to the sunrise on your private porch. It is expensive... especially at high season. I'm not sure it's great for kids. The location was excellent for us but you will need to taxi everywhere which is also a tad expensive. You can rent a twizzle (electric car) but don't plan to drink and drive on the island - anywhere! I can not say enough nice things about The Loren. Best Honeymoon EVER!

Breathtaking views and the sound of the surf every way you turn combined with wonderful staff make it hard to imagine staying anywhere else when we return to Bermuda.

We received rum swizzles (!) during check-in and were led to our first floor room. I point out that it was first floor because I would normally ask for a higher floor, but this walkout was INCREDIBLE. I watched the sunrise most mornings while listening to the surf. Some mornings we ordered breakfast to the room and ate outside before heading down to the pool where we would be set up with towels and possibly a pina colada to start the day. You know, it's vacation!

All of the staff was friendly and always helpful. The food at the Pink Beach Club was excellent, and the menus were diverse. We were lucky enough to have our stay coincide with the changing to the fall menu, so we enjoyed that as well.

The pool area was beautiful and only a few steps away from the most beautiful (actually) PINK sand beach. The water is crystal clear and there were usually only a few others in the water, so it was quiet and peaceful. Each day we would see giant parrot fish come close to shore. Very cool. We also saw a fair amount of sea glass, which is always fun to spot.

Wonderful stay! We will be back soon.

We had such a wonderful time at the Loren, prompting me to write my first TripAdvisor review ever.

We came during offseason (early October), so our experience was likely a bit more private than during peak season. However, as this was our first international trip with our 9-month-old baby, we were a little anxious about how smoothly things would go, and if we'd have all the amenities and intangibles needed to make it a comfortable stay for us all.

The Loren did not disappoint. They went above and beyond to make our stay as relaxing and care-free as possible. We were confused about the definition of the "2 bedroom Villa " we had booked through Expedia, and so we called ahead of time. Marco was very courteous in describing the room type and ensuring a crib was listed for our child. He also told us about the taxi options for arriving at the hotel.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by extremely courteous, attentive staff who clearly care and wanted to make our transition into the hotel as seamless as possible. We interacted directly with Rico, Glenn, Cole, and Anna multiple times, and were so impressed how professional and friendly they were. They care about their hotel; they care about their business, and they seek constructive criticism for how to improve.

We were surprised on our second day, when the reservations manager (Nelson, I believe) asked to meet with us. Knowing we had a baby, they graciously upgraded us to a penthouse suite on the top floor, with easier access to the beach and an elevator for our stroller. This was one of the most beautiful rooms we'd ever been in, after traveling all over the world and comparing to international Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons properties. Every room faces the Atlantic Ocean and is beautifully finished with high-end amenities. It was the cherry on top of an already memorable experience.

The food choices at the hotel are plentiful, but limited in variety. The waiting staff and housekeeping staff are all wonderful, polite, eager to help, and professional. It's the staff who really make this place worth the visit.

It was an unforgettable trip. Thank you for making our family feel so warmly welcomed. We would not dream of staying anywhere else in Bermuda, and hope to return shortly.

Room Tip: The Expedia "2 bedroom villa" is the bottom Villa floor - it's 2 attached hotel rooms...
