Getting food in Bridgeport can be a problem as the deli and burger places close early (5 or 6 pm) so all that is available after that are the few restaurants open for a late dinner. We had been out doing the back roads all day and just wanted something quick and go back to our room, so we wound up here.
The first impression was of noise, dirt and the place being run-down (it is). The seats at our booth were covered with black duct tape to hide the rips and tears.....really?
The server, to his credit, was as quick as he could be since he was the only one on duty but that meant long waits between ordering, the food and other service. That really made the meal tedious at best plus the food wasn't all that good despite any raves you might read here.
You know, a good cleaning, some new upholstery (or fresh duct tape) and a second server would have improved things a lot plus an upgrade in food quality would also be a big help too.
But this is Bridgeport and there are not a lot of choices for food so you just have to suck it up, hope the food doesn't make you sick and enjoy the "ambiance".
