This restaurant occupies what was, in my childhood growing up in Calistoga, the office of the town's only doctor. Now it's a charming little bistro with excellent food and an inviting patio in warm weather. I had a delicious salad and a goat chili pasta, the latter of which was well spiced and had perfectly al dente home-made pasta, marred only by being a bit too salty.
The wine list is adequate but not stunning given its location in the Napa Valley, but I appreciated the touch of offering either still or sparkling water as soon as we were seated.
