I had to come to Camarillo unexpectedly due to a family member's illness and stayed at the Hampton (although I did start out at Sonesta). I was there for two weeks. I didn't expect to need to stay so long, but I am glad we did because it felt like home after a couple days:) . The staff bent over backwards for us the entire time. I won't get everyone's names but at the front desk, Shanen, Olivia, Fabian, I believe Ruben is maintenance and Anthony is the GM. We needed a TTY and it hadn't been used much in the hotel. We were able to connect to a call using the TTY, and the staff was determined to make sure we could use this technology. Our rooms were cleaned as often as we wanted, and we had fresh towels. The room smelled good and was clean. Although I agree with another review the bathrooms could use an update, it was still clean and spacious. The room had been updated recently with nice curtains and the bed was as you would expect for a Hampton. I never had a bad night sleeping. It was nice to always have coffee and breakfast and the breakfasts hostesses make sure everything is stocked and fresh. Every night we had tea before bed. If you are staying as long as I did, you can download an app to do laundry, or bring about 12.00 in quarters for two loads to wash and dry. Because of the reason for the trip and running around to different medical offices, the time in Camarillo was stressful, however, the Hampton Inn and it's staff was a very bright spot and a welcome respite at the end of the day. Thank you so much to Anthony and the Hampton Inn Staff. I also want to mention that the end of the day on Friday Nov 3, there was a flurry of activity on our floor and we saw Anthony in the hall, helping the housekeepers with a room.
