This hotel was a wonderful place to stay. There was so much to do right on the property. I have children aged 19, 21 and 23 and they all had a fabulous time as well. We did horse back riding, the jungle slide, the hot springs and more. Carlos made our time extra special as he worked hard to ensure we had a great stay and that all our needs were met!! Thank you Carlos and Buena Vista for an amazing experience!

Worth the trip from the local resorts if your not staying here. The ziplines, tube ride and hot springs were amazing. Food was excellent as well. Bring some eco friendly insect repellent and sunscreen

We booked this excursion directly with Buena Vista del Rincon, we were going to rent a van for the 8 of us for $103for the day thru Adobe link on the blog MyTanfeet.com but would be on a time restriction to get it back for pick up so they said that they could arrange transportation. with the additional price it was an additional $12.50 a piece so we went for that and we are so glad we did it was a drive thru a very remote part of Canas Dulces region into the mountains to get the the eco park. plus we were tired at the end of the day. the driver was Victor and the guide was Jimmy. we did the full day adventure with a visit to a see a local pottery be made, how sugar cane juice was extracted from the cane manually by a cow, we tried local coffee, hand made tortilla and cheese made there from their cows, horseback riding thru the rainforest then a trek to the waterfall, next was a visit into the steam room to open our pores before the volcanic mud bath, then an hour in the hot springs pools with a cold cocktail, then we were taken back down to the main area for lunch. which was a buffet style but we were served. after lunch we went on the mountain water slide then the 7 or 8 platform zipline and last the hanging bridges(which we missed due to the park closing) we were late arriving because of work on the power lines on the way and we sat for about 45 min until they were done. all in all it was a good excursion because it included everything that the kids all wanted to do in one stop the total with the transportation for 4 of us was $503. I would recommend this to anyone. I will say that you can go upside down on the zip line and it was a very cool experience but somewhat uncomfortable the way the harness was on around my hip / back area.

I feel like I can take on anything after spending a day here. The grounds are beautiful and well manicured. There is wildlife everywhere! Colorful butterflies and birds, howling monkeys, iguanas and scurrying things. The zipline and water tubing is exhilarating. Horseback riding was peaceful. I think I made a friendship with my horse Ms. Mama Raya. She took care of me. The hiking to the waterfall, across hanging bridges and engaging in cultural demonstrations was very educational and enlightening. The sauna, mudd bath and hot spring is very relaxing. The baths are different temperatures. It cleared my bug bites.

We had a blast! We were a group of 9 people: two families with 2 kids each, and a grandma.
First of all, the staff is absolutely awesome! Followed Covid protocol at all times.
From the first call I made, José Luis, Melvin and Celmira at the front desk were very helpful and warm.
The facilites are rustic, the cabins are pretty basic but we knew what to expect from the pictures, which are pretty real. Although they’re basic, the beds are very comfortable and we found everything to be clean and fresh.
The food is not great but it was ok. Again, the service from Liz (who was all over the place) is an asset to the hotel. She is GREAT! At the restaurant Carlos and Victor: 5 stars for service. Liz and Carlos put together a little birthday celebration for one of us. Very much appreciated!
The first day we went zip lining with Antonio and Jose. Our children range from 6 to 11 and they (the guides) were so thoughtful of them and grandma! Incredible experience!
We found the hot spring pools to be very nice. Ricardo at the bar goes above and beyond for guests, and even though the menu is pretty limited, everything is well prepared and the cocktails are great! The ride in the buggy with Minor is also an adventure. The kids loved it!
The next day, we went on a hike guided by local people recommended by Celmira. Don not leave this place without going to the waterfall La Leona. AMAZING!
The hanging bridges, great experience as well. Kids loved the Jungle waterslide.
And the horseback riding experience is a must. Short, sweet, and safe way to go to a beautiful waterfall led by Minor who was also very caring. We finished the tour at the springs with very happy faces.
All the typical tours within the farm are very well planned and executed. You can see how they love their work.
Without a doubt we will be coming back and will recommend it to everyone! If you’re looking for a nature, rustic, down to earth experience, this is the place.
Thank you all for our great days there!
