My favorite part of the resort was the onsen. It was amazing to sit in a natural rock hot spring while out in the snow. The hotel onsen is open 2pm to 9 am, but the Hilton onsen is open during the closed times. It is fun to try both hot springs. because they are both included o your stay. The breakfast was also delicious with a tremendous variety. I agree with a previous review that there are limited dining choices at the hotel. I would recommend booking ahead at one of the 5 Hilton restaurants and only planning for one night at the hotpot buffet at the Green Leaf. Please be aware that most dining options are expensive on the area. However, the bar at Green Leaf has reasonably priced dining options but last orders are at 5:30pm. The fish and chips there were very tasty! Grand Hirafu area has the most choices, so I would recommend bringing a change of footwear on your ski, so you could eat near Grand Hirafu and then catch the last bus back to the resort. Alternatively, hire a car at Saporo and you will be free to drive to downtown Niseko where there are more restaurants and a fun food truck area. The ski in and out at the resort was great, although the green run down from the highest gondola is very challenging. The best green runs are lower down in Bansai or buy the all mountain access pass and ski down the easier and nicer runs by Grand Hirafu and the Hilton and then get the bus back. There is a great rental shop at the hotel. However, they do not rent gloves or masks. You will need to bring them or buy at the shop that opens in the afternoon or go to the Hilton or Grand Hirafu by bus to purchase them. The staff at the hotel were all very helpful and respectful. The rooms were pleasant but not luxurious. The bed was fairly hard, but the bed linens were top quality. A nice touch was a complimentary kimono for the onsen.
