This is a local favorite for breakfast or lunch to watch the surfers while dining. You order downstairs and sit upstairs with walls of glass and panoramic ocean vistas (no elevator or handicap access) to wait for the server to bring your meal. You can sit outside or inside and get your own tea and silverware, so it's pretty casual semi-self serve.
The omelettes and burritos are gigantic and it's usually enough to share with a friend. Smoothies & fresh juices are tasty and they have fresh muffins and daily specials.
Lunches a variety of crisp salads (although no more ahi which was my favorite), an assortment of sandwiches or wraps and excellent stir fry or curry dishes. We savored our not-too-spicy, chicken curry on a rainy afternoon recently, and I forgot to take a photo of it. It seems that we never have room room dessert, but the mud pie and carrot cake served to others looks decadent!
It's not cheap, but the views are priceless during the day.
Dinner has full table service but seems pricy to me and not as enjoyable at night as the places across the street that are "on the sand" with spotlights illuminating the water.
It can be crowded on weekends, but park along the Highway and enjoy a walk along the beach.
