My daughter and cousin took a break from city life to spend 2 days near the beach. After check-in (3pm) we walked to the beach. The area where the hotels are is quiet. You will have to walk over the bridge to cross the railroad tracks. There's a side walk but be careful when walking with kids. Check google maps if curious about way to the beach.
Location to the beach great! 10-15 minute walk. we walked there to see the sunset then the next day to see the sunrise.
Rooms were clean, and it was nice to have a little stove and big fridge. Some stains on the sofa.
The stairs and walkways to the rooms could use major washing.
The pool and Jacuzzi were dirty. When the jets were off, it was obvious that the pool pump/filter wasn't on, as dirt settled on the bottom. We were looking forward to soaking in the Jacuzzi but didn't dare...I think the management needs to be aware of the sanitation issues concerning public pools and Jacuzzis. Filter needs to be on longer or at least during pool hours. Visible dirt settling on the bottom is unacceptable, and an obvious sign that pump doesn't work. Water looked very murky.
Breakfast: food is good but don't go at peak time 8-10. there is only one waffle maker and you may have to wait awhile for your turn. Go early and enjoy peace and quiet. Also things may already be dirty (contaminated) when the place gets packed.
