Great service, clean room, and amazing location. Our room had the best view so maybe that makes it even better.
We were greeted with a friendly smile after getting a welcoming text long before we arrived.
Keep doing what you do and we will be back.

Room tip: If you don’t like stairs, they didn’t have elevators when the Pine Inn was built.

Beautiful old hotel. Lobby unique and very interesting. Restaurant and bar are fantastic - we’ve visited many times This was our first time to stay here. Rooms are outdated and very small and don’t have a/c so glad it was cool. Overall, love the place but probably won’t stay there again.

Room tip: No elevator so if you can’t climb stairs it’s not for you.

Comfortable, clean rooms and friendly staff but the premises are old and have mechanical issues. The radiator in our room started spitting and clunking at 4 a.m. We managed to turn it off but it continued to make dripping noises until 8 a.m. We reported it to the hotel but did not receive any follow up regarding this issue. Do not stay in #18 and when you book, ask for a room without a radiator!

Room tip: Avoid rooms with radiators.

We had a lovely time at the Pine Inn. We booked two rooms, and Room 1 was incredible! It looked so royal, it made me feel like we were in Rose’s room on the Titanic. Our second room was very nice as well, it wasn’t as fancy, but it felt a cute little cottage at the top of the stairs. The lobby is absolutely beautiful. Everything is a dark red color, with fireplaces that makes it feel extra cozy. All of the staff were so sweet and helpful with any questions we had during our stay. We will definitely be back to spend the night when we’re in Carmel next!

We booked our stay at the Pine Inn because of their location and the connecting rooms. We were there for a girls trip to celebrate our friend’s 60th birthday. The ladies at the front desk were very welcoming, we had help taking our luggage to our room, and were greeted with a basket of treats from the owner! We were so happy with everything! This is now our new favorite place to stay in Carmel and will definitely be back again! Another fun fact was that my parents celebrated their wedding night there 61 years ago!
