I have only visited the North Park location (couldn’t find that location here on Trip Advisor) and the menus are pretty different! We started out with the house edamame (hot edamame cooked with garlic, ginger and sesame) and they were amazing! So much better then plain edamame! We also tried the Paradise roll and the Roboto roll – both awesome!! They also have a special chef’s weekly menu that changes based on what is fresh and in season – we had a shrimp and cauliflower dish that was seriously amazing!! All the flavors worked perfectly together – we literally licked the plate! I also love all their Sake options (and I am NOT a sake drinker). Our waiter was very knowledgeable on the sakes and recommended the Air flight for us to try. It was a really cool experience and I cant wait to return!

We were craving sushi rolls and cocktails. This place is off the busy downtown of Coronado and just what we wanted. A place the locals go. Loved the low key feel. Families and professionals.

The food is really good, especially the variety of original sushi rolls. The cold Japanese beer on tap is great. I have eaten here twice and both our servers were knowledgeable, friendly and promptly accommodating. The ambiance is fun -- smallish with great decor and some outside seating. Sushi chefs prepare rolls in full view of customers at the bar. The manager checked on us on both occasions to ensure we were enjoying our dinners. But....the hostess was inexperienced and rude. We got a table despite her efforts. I hope she learns her job soon, or this great little restaurant will suffer.

We had for starters the garlic edamame beans which absolutely great. Then, we had Rama sushi and a lunch box that spicy tuna and nigiri, which is was enough lunch for both us. Moderately priced. In a nice area of the town of Coronado.

I have eaten at Saiko a dozen times. The sushi is good, be sure to ask the server about rolls they prepare that are not on the menu (like the alpha roll). Also, they have two kinds of edamame, try the Saiko Edamame, with celery salt -- we like it. I'm not a fan of their calamari, it's a bit stringy. They have some good wines and beers, plus a full bar. It's a cozy place, which is always a nice break from the loud, massive restaurants.

When you step outside of the restaurant, you have a great view of the bay and downtown San Diego. After dinner, enjoy a walk along the bay or in Coronado's downtown.
