“Getting average....”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 March 2012

Seems like this place has gone downhill a little. Service for dinner on a Monday night was slow; waiters are busy but never around when you need them. We had to wait 10 minutes just to give our drink order....it was busy like a lot of the restaurants in Coronado. They have a captive audience so quality and service are going down with most of the restaurants there. Margaritas and chips/dips are the best thing in addition to the patio which is heated on chilly nights. Other than that, food is average and service poor. Go early at 5p or be prepared for a wait any day of the week.

Used to go a lot. Service and food quality have gone down, but the crowds have not. Seems the word hasn't gotten out that it is not as good as it used to be.

“Best Mexican on the Isand”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 March 2012

We love this place. Since Chances sold out this have become the only place for good Mexican. We love the dips they bring with the chips. It's rumored to be sold on the island but I've yet to see it. The drinks are great and large and strong. It's good for kids too. But come early it fills up fast.

Cute courtyard setting, large selection, delicious margaritas. A good choice on coronado.

“Good food, great service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 February 2012

We took our young kids to Miguel's for dinner on the President's Day long weekend. We waited 40 minutes for a table but it was worth it. Festive atmosphere, great service, and equally good food. I had great fish tacos, and the kids' menu options were good. My daughter has extensive food allergies and as soon as we mentioned that to the waiter, he sent the manager over. Manager was very knowledgable about ingredients for each dish and we felt very confident. Food came quickly despite very full dining room. Would go back if we ever return to Coronado!
