We were walking along the main street looking for coffee as we heading to the beach.
There was an outdoor coffee bar at Zel’s.
Coffee was served hot and it was delicious.

We frequent Zel's quite a bit. It is our neighborhood go to restaurant. Make reservations so you will not
experience a wait.....BUT we take our 2 Doods & outdoor seating is very limited so call ahead if you want/need
To sit outside.

We went out with friends and the breakfast quesadilla was a hit! Besides eggs, it has a healthy layer of spinach in it. A side of freshly-made salsa comes with the generous serving. It was medium spiced. The coffee was too strong but with cream, it was acceptable. If you want bistro drinks you have to order and pay at the kiosk at the entryway.

Great location just a short distance from Torrey Pines Reserve. My friend and I popped in after a morning hike. Decent breakfast. I had the Del Mar Scramble. The baby kale was light and didnt over power the eggs. However, the goat cheese took over even though there wasn't a lot of it. The potatoes were nicely crisp and not greasy at all.
My friend had the Fried Chicken in a bisket. Again, not greasy and cooked just right.
