This was one of the best hotels we have stayed at. Everything was perfect, could not ask for anything better. it was wonderful and so clean. The complimentary breakfast was awesome, the staff was so friendly and nice. The bed was very comfy and the air temperature was perfect also.

We stayed at this Hyatt in a one bedroom Bay View King Suite. The room was very clean, updated and comfortable. It had a small balcony but it was nice to feel the beautiful breeze without leaving the hotel. The bed is very comfortable and soft. The room was super quiet, breakfast was included and very good. The front desk staff was really nice. We were at the bar one night and the bartender was very friendly. Parking was free. Nice view of the bay, but i thought it would be closer. I would stay there again.

My best friend was getting married in Emeryville and this was the hotel we stayed at the night before. It was suite style and very clean with a lot of natural light coming in. The front desk was very nice and super accommodating every time we needed something. This hotel is conveniently close to the mall, right across the street from Urban Outfitters and walking distance to Trader Joe's and other stores. Parking was easy to find, room was huge and reasonably price.

My husband and I took an Amtrak train from Denver to Emeryville (the last stop). The Hyatt is just across the tracks from the train station. Given that Amtrak doesn't have the best on time arrival percentages, I booked something close in case we were very late. Fortunately we were only 45 minutes late so there was no problem. Booked a one bedroom suite that was more than adequate - modern and comfortable. The Townhouse Bar and Grill is located 10 minute walk away for dinner - highly recommend. The hotel free breakfast was a zoo in the morning, but they do warn you on what hours are the most busy - the food was fine. We took Uber to the Oakland airport to rent a car ($13 I think for the ride). There are car rental places at the train station, but they had inconvenient hours.

Between the loss of all the boutonnieres and the room key not working during the wedding night, I don't see why anyone would want to book this hotel for their wedding party. You already have enough to worry about during your wedding, Your HOTEL shouldn't be one of them. I felt that the staff (while friendly) didn't really go above and beyond to help.
