I spent 2 nights at this stunning property. From the moment I arrived I felt completely taken care of. Every detail is looked after here, I was able to relax, let go and enjoy! The room was the finest I have ever stayed in with the indoor/outdoor fireplace, deep Jacuzzi tub, steam shower and the most comfortable bed ever! And of course many find local wines and delicious fresh food available. The spa was fantastic I had a honey ginger 90 minute massage which was complete bliss. I cannot wait to return to this property!

Farmhouse Inn is an ideal destination for a getaway, especially if you live in the Bay Area and want to treat yourself. For my birthday, my husband and I drove up from San Francisco for dinner and an overnight stay. The four-course meal and wine pairing was superb at the restaurant, living up to its stellar reputation and Michelin star rating. Service at the table was genial, seasoned and knowledgeable. In fact, the level of service throughout our stay was professional and unobtrusive.

After dinner, we returned to our room to find the turn-down service included warm chocolate chip cookies that were out of this world. Our large room and bathroom were elegant without being pretentious. The double-sided fireplace faced the bed on one side and private outdoor deck on the other. Outside, it was quiet, with barely a breeze blowing through the redwoods. Step inside and pamper yourself in your own steam sauna shower or hot tub bath. There is also satellite television and WiFi included with the room (It’s so annoying when luxury hotels add a surcharge for internet access). Our only regret during the visit was not having time to book an appointment at the in-house spa.

Room Tip: Rooms up the hill and furthest away from the parking lot are quiet, have private decks and a view.

Dear rghSF,

Thank you so much for celebrating your Birthday with us here at the Farmhouse. We're delighted to learn that the service and flavors of your four course Michelin star dinner exceeded your expectations. We're so happy that, not having to drive back to the city, you had a relaxing evening and enjoyed the amenities in your room (including those cookies!). Please come back and see us again soon- no need to wait for your Birthday! Next time save some time for a spa treatment; you deserve it!

Warmly,

We had two lovely days at Farmhouse Inn. The place is stunning. I love everything about this place, the entrance with the little food truck, the walkways to the different rooms, the beautiful spa and the fireplace.
The interior is gorgeous and everything is spotless.
And I haven’t even mentioned the restaurant. That needs a separate review.
The rooms are spacious and beautiful and we were lucky to get a room with an outdoor patio. If you are in this area I would highly recommend this place, you will not regret it.

The property is charming, intimate and picturesque with a luxury farm vibe. Perfect place to escape and unwind after a long day of wine activities.

We stayed in the King Luxury Suite; which was spacious yet cozy. The decor reminded me of a Pottery Barn catalogue in the best way possible - simple wood finishes, mainly white decor with natural coloured accents. Even the building in which our room was located looked exactly like a converted barn

Some of the highlights from our stay were:

1. The bed - so comfortable that I had one of the best sleeps ever while in a hotel

2. Heated bathroom tiles plus steam shower

3. Indoor/Outdoor fireplace in the room

4. Evening S'mores at the fire pit near the pool

5. Great breakfast at the restaurant.

6. Nightly turn down with the delicious chocolate chip cookies

7. Friendly and helpful staff from check-in to dining

The only thing I wished was that we spent more time on property in between our wine tours to take advantage of the spa and evening wine tastings.

Keep in mind: The hotel is located approximately 20 minutes drive from town of Healdsburg and not much within walking distance but transport can easily be arranged.

We have heard nothing but rave reviews about Farmhouse Inn so we were really looking forward to our stay.

Upon arrival, we were met and our bags were taken to our room while we checked in. The check in process was efficient and super easy- everyone was so friendly and welcoming, we instantly felt at home! There are a selection of handmade bath soaps, scrubs and more that you can choose from to bring to your room in addition to the wonderful bath products and amenities already waiting for you.

The room itself was so incredible. Some of the highlights were the heated floors, steam shower, indoor/outdoor fireplace, cozy blankets, yoga mat, private outdoor space and the ample amount of space. It was truly an oasis.

We loved the relaxed, peaceful atmosphere of the entire property. After checking in we were able to attend the afternoon wine tasting where we were introduced to wines from a local vineyard and met some other guests as well. What a great experience!

Our massages in the spa were excellent- the entire treatment was very memorable. We also loved the style of the barn converted into a beautiful space. It added to the treatments and relaxed feel.

Another highlight of our stay was dinner at the Farmhouse Restaurant. What a treat! I highly recommend making a reservation before your stay to ensure you get to dine here- everything from the sommelier, food, service and restaurant itself made the evening unforgettable. One of our favorite meals and restaurant experiences to date.

The treats in the room, nightly cookies and milk and s'more supplies that were available were just the best touches! Every night we would look forward to cookies and milk by the fireplace or lounging by the firepit making s'mores.

We also enjoyed venturing out to nearby Armstrong Redwoods which is only about 15 minutes away and also Goat Rock Beach for a break from winery visits.

I highly recommend Farmhouse Inn, once you are there- you won't want to leave. Thank you to the entire staff who made our stay so special!
