We were at the airport for another even and it was recommended we go here for lunch. It was excellent. The decor is really cool and you just have to love these little airport diners. This one is a classic.

For those of us who remember the down-home flavor of Tartuffles, the predecessor of Wings Cafe, your jaw will drop when you see its new iteration. Wow! The aviation theme welcomes you from the double-door entry decorated with an etched glass airplane, to the condiment stations at most tables that feature switches and buttons (and USB ports, yay!) like an airplane control panel. The second Sunday of each month is Classic Airplane Display Day and you can enjoy walking around and learning more about some of the planes on site that date back more than 50 years I'd guess. Such a wonderful, local jewel. Too bad it's only open until 2 pm daily.

Was visiting from Arizona, and my sister took me to lunch here because she knows I am an "airplane junkie". We visited on Saturday June 3rd for lunch. Overall, it was a great experience and the place has a nice ambiance. We ordered lunch sandwiches which were very good, and it looked like they had a great breakfast menu as well. This place is a hidden gem in the City of Fullerton. Was also a great experience to sit at a booth, with a window view of the airport runway (tarmac action).
I used to work at Hughes Aircraft Fullerton in the 80's and 90's, and we would occasionally come here for lunch. This place has far improved since those days, as it was just a little airport cafe back then, with no ambiance. I will definitely return on my next trip back to North O.C. Excellent choice for a fun filled change of pace. Original and unique. Such a nice change from today's boring chain restaurant places ! To the owners and mgmt....thank you and keep up the great work !

Dear Visitor form Arizona,

I am so happy to hear you had a great experience at Wings Cafe. We look forward to your next visit. We serve breakfast and lunch all day, 7am-2pm. So, if you want breakfast for lunch that's ok too! If you like chili, we have a great chili cheese omelet (Grandpas recipe) and, home-made hash brown that are very good too! I recommend asking for extra well done hash browns they are delicious. Thank you again for your review!

While waiting for our meal to arrive, our little one enjoyed playing with the switches and buttons on the wall at our table. We all enjoyed seeing the planes on the tarmac. Waffle was delicious, burger tasty. The child-menu scrambled egg with bacon: finished by the little one.

We have lived in Orange County for 30 years but we just found a special little restaurant that we had never heard of. The Wings Café at the Fullerton Airport not only had great food at very reasonable prices, an extensive menu for such a small restaurant, friendly staff and great service but the décor makes it worth a visit. Each booth is beside the window with a great view of planes landing and taking off. An "instrument panel" is at each booth. You enter the restaurant on a lighted runway. Mimosas for $1.99 on Sunday. You can park free just outside their door. The Fullerton Airport itself is a historical site with a very interesting history that is displayed on the wall of the lobby. It opened just 10 years after the Wright Brothers' flight.
