Really tasty organic produce grown locally is the attraction. Expect to find fruits and vegetables that are in season. Selections vary daily. Some of the vegetables are grown immediately adjacent to the stand. Short walking tours of the garden are another reason to visit. Staff/volunteers are friendly and helpful.

The variety of produce varies depending on the season which is what one expects from a local farm. If you want to eat what is fresh and in season, shop here. Some of the produce comes from more remote sites as do the beverages and snacks.

We love the Fairview Gardens CSA. We discovered this place years ago when we were taste-testing the strawberries at the farmer's market. This place was the best. We tried the CSA, and am now on our 15th year. It's a very good deal for fresh, organic produce.

We get a 1/2 (small) share. This was enough for two, not enough for our (now) 4 person family. Still, cost-wise it is competitive with grocery stores, but at much higher quality. The farm is beautiful (I attended a wedding there and several potlucks). They have camps, after school programs, and classes on various gardening/ canning techniques. A little gem in the middle of Goleta.

I love buying produce, bread, and eggs at Fairview Gardens. We've been customers for well over a decade. The fruit and veggies are as fresh as can be. Some years back, we asked if eggs were available. They said we can come back in a little while because the hens were still sitting on them. The hens get to run around outside the cage much of the day. The food is excellent.

Everything seems to be grown with lots of care and it shows. The fruits and vegetables could not be any fresher. Everything we bought was always marvelous.
