Owner description: Come visit the farm! Founded in 1895, Fairview Gardens is one of the oldest organic farms in southern California and preserved for all to enjoy. Fairview Gardens is a non-profit organization and plays a unique role in the community, providing its neighbors with food, educational events, and a connection to the land. Pack a picnic, visit our farm stand, and take a self-guided tour through our fruit orchards and open space. Bring a camera and get ready for some delicious fun.

Love this little suburban farm that has withstood the test of time due to red tape, hostile anti-local farmers, yet when your heart desires good, organic, solidly grown veggies/fruits, then this is your place. Ease of parking - simply swing off Fairview onto their gravel driveway and one strong hint: ask for goods within their storage - often fresher and less wilted due to the hot CA sun.
I believe they allow tours of their farm and also host various community programs - plus they sell their products at the local farmers markets. A must try.
Please support our local farmers - they deserve it and lots more!

Really tasty organic produce grown locally is the attraction. Expect to find fruits and vegetables that are in season. Selections vary daily. Some of the vegetables are grown immediately adjacent to the stand. Short walking tours of the garden are another reason to visit. Staff/volunteers are friendly and helpful.

The variety of produce varies depending on the season which is what one expects from a local farm. If you want to eat what is fresh and in season, shop here. Some of the produce comes from more remote sites as do the beverages and snacks.

We love the Fairview Gardens CSA. We discovered this place years ago when we were taste-testing the strawberries at the farmer's market. This place was the best. We tried the CSA, and am now on our 15th year. It's a very good deal for fresh, organic produce.

We get a 1/2 (small) share. This was enough for two, not enough for our (now) 4 person family. Still, cost-wise it is competitive with grocery stores, but at much higher quality. The farm is beautiful (I attended a wedding there and several potlucks). They have camps, after school programs, and classes on various gardening/ canning techniques. A little gem in the middle of Goleta.
