Description: We invite you to step back in time to enjoy the charming atmosphere of this historical site and to partake in the English tradition of taking tea. Dori's Tea Cottage opened in May 2008 to continue this fine tea tradition and to expand on Dori's life-long love of tea. In 2012, Dori's expanded into the adjacent space that is now Dori's Cafe, which was Groveland's former U.S. Post Office. The Cafe features espresso, gelato, smoothies, fresh brewed iced teas, sandwiches, wraps, quiche, soup, salad and a variety of bakery items. We hope you enjoy your visit - whether you enjoy a quick breakfast, join us for our English tea luncheon, or "Build a Picnic" for your trip to Yosemite.

As regular afternoon tea goers from England, we were pleasantly surprised to find Dori's Tea Cottage in Groveland. We had a wonderful afternoon tea, which was very delicious and authentic. The service was amazing. It was nice to be asked how long we wanted our tea to be brewed and as typical Yorkshire ladies, we asked for the tea bag to be left in the tea pots. Great afternoon and I would highly recommend a visit.

Dori's is one of my favorite spots here in Groveland. You can get a quick bite made with super fresh ingredients or a leisurely "tea" with your friends (or little granddaughters!). They have a nice selection of items in the shop as well. All around a wonderful place to visit.

I am not a fan of tea or tea rooms, however, that's not the point. It's just a great spot in a small town that is well worth getting lunch, or tea at if you so choose. Never would have wound up here had it not been for a friend. Glad we did. Sure beats another generic starbucks.

Really, across the street from the oldest continually operating saloon? A tea shop? But it's great. Coffee and tea are very good, and the pastries are terrific.

If you have time, you can partake of a real tea shop, with doilies and tea cosies. Totally out of place for this wild west town, but very much appreciated.

After an unfortunate experience at Firefall Coffee across the street, we stopped in here. The service was friendly, the vibe was cool (It was a charming little house converted into a tea shop.) Most importantly, the iced tea was very good.
It was VERY hot inside of this shop. Consider taking your items to go if it's a hot day. Also, be careful of the grumpy old business owner next door. He'll take your head off if he thinks you're trying to park in HIS precious spaces.
