We stopped here to pick up a picnic lunch during our day of winery visits. The sandwiches were fantastic. I particularly recommend the brie and olive sandwich.

We read about this cafe in a magazine in Australia so whilst in the area we thought we would make a special trip to see what the fuss was all about? I wish we had not wasted a whole day on getting to this destination as it was not worth it! There are no directions and after enquiring in a nearby town they didn't even know what we were talking about??? Now I understand why, as there is nothing exceptional here to make it memorable.y

Good location for a lunch stop while out touring wineries. The fig & olive sandwich was the best one of the ones we tried. Really good.

That's a quote from my husband. He was referring to Jimtown's homemade biscuit with sage gravy, prosciutto and poached egg and a side of quince jam along with a huge mug of chai tea latte. I was also having a good breakfast: Jimtown's house sangria. I needed it after the stress of trying to find this place. You see, Jimtown Store, is not in "Jimtown" (there is no Jim Town) and it's not really in Healdsburg (which is lovely.) But if you get off the 101 in Healdsburg and take Healdsburg Avenue north and then turn right on Alexander Road at some point it turns into CA-128 and then you'll see the sign by the side of the road. There. I just saved you 20 minutes of driving around. And it'll be worth your while to stop at Jimtown Store.
