We took a short cab ride from the airport to the restaurant. It is in a somewhat downtrodden area but was well worth the visit. Looks somewhat like a dive. We had fish tacos and shrimp-yummy.
Happy to eat here instead of airport food.

Fresh, succulent shrimp, shrimp and more shrimp in the tasty dishes; a variety of sauces in a wonderful array of shrimp plates and tacos. There's also wonderful fresh seafood ceviche. Although we haven't had it yet, another diner raved about the whole fish dish - definitely ordering it our next visit. The salsa is very, very fresh and served with their complementary chips - homemade, not out of a bag. The 3 taco "appetizer" could be a diner for a light eater. My husband LOVED the shrimp in a special sauce with bacon and mushrooms. The dining room is small, very clean with very friendly service. Parking is very minimal, so look for parking on a neighborhood side street. PS...CASH ONLY.

Coni'seafood serves authentic Mexican seafood meals to a neighborhood crowd along a beaten stretch of highway in Inglewood. You aren't going to find many reasons to travel to Inglewood to dine but Coni is worth it. The majority of options are ceviches and shrimp preparations. Both are outstanding. I recommend the camarones culichis featuring grilled shrimp with a creamy Jalapeño sauce. We also had a great shrimp ceviche and some excellent fried shrimp. They have Jarritos sodas too.

Now for the downside. The place was pretty dirty, floors and tables were strewn with food and napkins. Parking is limited in an OK but not great neighborhood. They have a micro kitchen and when things get hopping food service slows way down. But all in all I highly recommend it as a place to have unique Mexican seafood that tasted phenomenal.

We ate here because it was close to the LaQuinta Inn and we could walk to it. Not sure I'd want to walk home again after dark because the neighborhood is a bit rough looking but the food was wonderful. It's obviously a local favorite and is cash only but that was not a big deal for us. The people at the table next to us suggested a coup,e of differnt dishes and even let us sample some of their food which was excellent. I ended up getting the Shrimp in butter and garlic - got about 12-14 large shrimp with wonderful flavored plus some Mexican rice. Also their complimentary chips were to die for - not your standard Mexican restaurant chips. Food came out quickly and was steaming hot.
