We found a very good deal at the resort and decided to spend a couple days to enjoy the nicest beach of Sihanoukville : Sokha beach. We enjoyed the beach a lot and it is one of the most beautiful white sand beach you will find in the country : warm water, clean beach, nice cocktails, overall a great stay ! The hotel has multiple pools which are all great. The breakfast is a big buffet with some very good and some more disapointing choices, try the local soup, it is the best ! Or the eggs if you need a break from local food at some point. The room was very big and the bathroom with an italian shower and bathtub was perfect.

Enjoyed the big tropical garden great staffs the lake side rooms are nice thou very humid breakfast was delicious enjoyed all day citing on the beach if you need tips on rooms rather choose the garden rooms cheaper & better than the lake side rooms just a lil pond nothing special I have stayed in many other Sokha Resort in Cambodia but would definably recommend this one as the Best would not hesitate to come back lil expensive what you get thou if this resort consider little bit in the pricing would be a valuable hidden gem of Hotel in Sihanouk .

We were taken to the hotel from our cruise ship to spend a day on the beach. The resort is very large and spread out and we were taken to The Lemongrass Restaurant which is situated right on the beach.
We were welcomed by charming staff with cold towels and there was a barbecue of crab, prawns, fish and squid. The main buffet consisted of lamb, chicken and buttered vegetables. There was also a pasta section made to order.
The food was delicious and the staff attentive.
We went on to the beach loungers with the hotel towels and the sand was clean and white. The beach is very long and the sea clear.
I cannot fault this resort but I realise that there is not enough to do and this would not be our choice of destination

We have stayed in the hotel during previous years. Now booked a room for 11 days in quiet part of the hotel, in the lakeside building. Requested two twin beds, non smoking room. We got king size bed and wait for 5 days to change room. Next room we got was smoking room and air con did not work. We could not sleep all night. Rooms in lakeside is not 5 star standard. Simple old furniture, floor need reparing, the bathtub is made from material that looks dirty, mosquitos in room, must ask for spray.
After all this troubles we got upgrade to a room in the main building with pool and sea wiev. These newer rooms are nice, weekends little noise from pool area. Special thanks to staff Mr. Don and Mrs. Nhek, worked at the hotel 6-10 years and improving every year. They help us for all, change room, get transportation to Phnom Penh. In the hotel lobby evenings played a nice Philippin band, good cocktails, relaxed atmosfere. In breakfast room a big selection of Asian dishes, but missing tomatoes and some fish. Cafe latte and fresh pressed juice is for extra charge, many of 5 star hotels in Asia is complimentary. The beach is beatiful, sometimes on the beach is plastic rubbish from the sea, the staff should clean it a couple of time per day. Sunbeds pool side are always available, beach front weekends is difficult to get free sunbeds in the shade.
Hairsalon and spa massage are professionals and reasonable priced.

Room tip: Rooms in the Lakeside are quieter, but lower standard. Nice rooms in main building highest floor with pool and sea wiev.

It's a beautiful place on the most beautiful beach of Sihanoukville, anyway is very expensive, the food is low level, rooms are nice but nothing more, far from the city center and the activities. Actually i will not suggest this hotel.
