Weekends often find restaurants crowded with loud obnoxious folks, drinking a bit too much, and each trying to sound out their neighboring tables; here's a place you can enjoy a terrific meal and great conversation. It's an intimate place, probably can only seat a dozen or so folks at a time, which make it very personable and intimate. The food is terrific too, eggplant, stuffed grape leaves, falafel, kebabs, all made to order. Tiny tables that make you feel like you are overseas and away from the oversized typical American scene. I liked it and recommend it. I think you'll like it too. If it's too small for your taste, right next door is a brewery pub....

I just finish dining here. It is a small Mediterranean restaurant. If you want to drink alcohol you have to sit inside as they are not allowed to serve alcohol in the patio. I has the lamb shank. I would have wanted to have more meat, the rice is very good as well as the sauce on the lamb. My wife is the veggie plate and it was surprisingly good. Good service

This restaurant, near the Long Beach pier, has a relaxing vibe. I ordered the lamb kebab dinner, which comes with salad and rice. The lamb was cooked enough and was moist/flavorful. The rice didn't have much flavor...was a disappointment.

The round tables indoors do not service a party of five very well. Two round tables had to be pushed together to accommodate us. The decor made for a casual atmosphere.
If you plan to have anything alcoholic, just be aware that alcohol is served inside but not on the patio behind the restaurant.

Park in the city lot just East of the pier. There is free parking after 6:00PM on weekdays. Overall, this was a good experience.

We have been ordering meals from Gypsy's for delivery on average about once a week.
Our favorites are the salmon and lamb kabob dinners. Always great and cooked perfectly. (never dry) The guy who brings us our dinner is always so nice and it usually comes sooner than expected. So glad we have this place close by. Will probably start going there sometime to dine in when it gets a little warmer.
