Description: George's Greek Cafe welcomes you to "a little piece of Greece in Southern California." Our family-owned business is here to provide you with high quality food, craft cocktails, and an authentic Greek dining experience. Our restaurant has remained a favorite among the locals for one reason: we never compromise on our promise to provide fresh and delicious meals in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We continue to follow Mama Rodou's recipes, which were passed down to her from her grandmother. We use only the finest imported ingredients, such as first cold pressed extra virgin olive oil from Greece and premium, hormone-free, grass-fed lamb from New Zealand. We want to extend an open invitation to you to dine at one of our restaurants. Whether you're looking to impress a date with an intimate wine tasting, reconnecting with family over Saganaki Flaming Cheese and lamb chops, or planning the perfect wedding reception for 500 of your closest friends, we are here for you. Come in, and feel like part of the family. OPA!

I recently had Happy Hour at George's on Pine Avenue, and was impressed by the good food and great prices. Beer and wine are $3.50 - $4.50 and martinis are $5.50. Food specials are small plates that range from $2.50 - $5.00 and include spanakopita, dolmathes, falafel, tzantziki, and much more. There's a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. The patio is very nice, but if you have a seat close to the sidewalk, you may have to deal with an occasional panhandler (at the Pine Ave. location). I plan to return soon.

Great people watching along 2nd street. All shapes, sizes, dress, dogs, costumes etc.
Lily was our excellent waitress. Nice Malbec and Pinot Grigio with a good pour. We loved the veggie appetizer and a kale salad. Plenty for the two of us. Baklava to finish with two generous scoops of vanilla ice cream.

Service was great. Salads are wonderful. Great place to stop in for a good meal and good wine. They have a nice selection. Never had any food that wasn't fresh to order and full of flavor.

We got take out because we were catching the shuttle bus to the Hollywood Bowl. Everything was packaged perfectly, with napkins, salt, pepper, plastic ware, etc! We didn't need anything else! The portions were satisfying and delicious! We enjoy eating in the restaurant as well, but in this case, it suited our needs beautifully! Jacob took our order over the phone, and had it ready for us with a smile!
