Since we live in Colorado, whenever we get to the coast, we HAVE to eat at a good seafood restaurant. My cousin recommended this as one of the best, and boy was he right.
It's a little more upscale than casual but they won't look down on you too much if you're super casual. The menu is pretty extensive, but the star is the fresh fish part of the menu, updated daily.
I started with the clam chowder, which is touted to be some of the best around. I always order the clam chowder everywhere because I always am looking for the best. I must say this is now the #1 clam chowder on my list for restaurant clam chowder, outside of my wife's homemade. There was also an order of mussels and clams before the meal that everyone sampled and said was exceptional.
You can get your fish as grilled, baked, steamed, or sauteed with butter sauce and capers. My wife got the sole sauteed, and I got the rockfish sauteed. Both were done exceptionally well. Our daughter got the shrimp off the kid's menu and was quite happy.
The whole table was extremely happy with all their entree choices. This was one of the best seafood restaurants we've ever been to. There's also an attached fish market in case you want to take something home and cook it yourself. But with the expert chefs here, why would you?!
