This is a phenomenal new bakery/cafe in the Pico Robertson district of LA.
The first thing that struck me was the gorgeous mural on the wall of the western hemisphere-very artistically done.
I had the Arepas(white cornmeal with 3 cheeses), Empenada and the Choripan(sausage sandwich on fresh made toasted bread) for lunch washed down with a delicious mint lemonade. They were all delicious. For dessert, I had the chocolate blondie cookie and Alfajaros(choco coconut flaked brownie. Everything was really great and the Ethiopian coffee was superb, much better than at the nearby Starbucks(Cafe Panamericana is ideally situated right on the corner of pico and robertson next to the starbucks).
Nick, the manager, taught me about how the Coffee is made(supplied by Luxe Cafe in santa monica) which was amazing.
This is without a doubt the best bakery cafe I have been to in LA since I got back from Europe. The salad was also great which I wasn't even expecting as salads with sandwiches are usually avg at many cafes.
I give this Cafe my strongest recommendation
