We stopped by for a quick drink before our dinner a few doors down....and ended up returning after dinner for more wine! The wine menus is diverse with wines from different regions around the world. We enjoyed the wine flights; our waiter inquired about what we liked/disliked and put together a medley of wines that we're all very good. They tend to have about 75 or so bottles open at any time, but will open a new bottle as long as you purchase 2 glasses. We returned after dinner for another round and desert. The courtyard can be kept warm with heaters if needed, but the ambiance of sitting between buildings really gave a "Paris" feel. We will definitely be stopping by again.

Stopped in for a drink before going to dinner elsewhere but liked the place so much we cancelled our reservation and stayed there! This is a lovely place with beautiful outdoor seating as well as indoor. The food, wine and waiters were excellent!

Four of us went to Vinoteque on Melrose, based in large part by the many very favorable reviews on Tripadvisor and Yelp. Those excellent reviews were accurate!! We had the brussel sprouts, eggplant, spinach salad, warm goat cheese Napoleon (two, because it is so delicious!), rainbow trout special, parmesan french fries, tiger shrimp, churros and molten chocolate cake. Everything dish was outstanding!

What further elevated our dining experience was getting to talk extensively with Ryan, the owner and sommelier. He is very friendly and charming and knows so much about wine and food pairing. We also met and talked the chef, Sheila Gomez, the creator of our delicious dishes.

This was a most perfect dinner! We will all return very soon.

Perfectly awesome. I can unabashedly say, without a trace of irony, that this is my new favorite restaurant in the city. Superb.

A great evening starts when you come in, up the stairs into the courtyard, the ambience is immediately striking. It's not tripping over itself trying to be cool. It just is. The staff are all warm & friendly & eager to answer questions & give the impression that they really enjoy their jobs! They are fun to be around.

I can't say enough about the excellent food. Perfectly balanced tapas plates, well presented with just the right amount for sharing. In particular the Steak & Salmon plates were delicious. Everything we tried was just brilliant.

Arguably the best part of the experience were the absolutely outstanding wines available. The pricing structure is such that you can try a few different things until you land on your favorite. The sommelier read my mind & nailed what is honestly difficult to articulate. What kind of wine you might like at any moment!

This place is so good it hurts. If I had my way I would eat there every day. Highest recommendations. Yes.

Perfect after work go-to place for a glass of wine, beer, with friends or solo. I've driven by many times not knowing it was there. Cute front section with comfy seating along the sidewalk (not street level, so you can enjoy the elevated view). Out back there's some more seating, they had trivia night when we stopped in (Wednesday). Looks like a great date place too!
