I visited this place twice now in the past three months. Foods was good both times and the portions were generous. I did not visit the bath room on this visit, but last time it was a pit... So hopefully it is now good.

Give it a try.

Good food and good service at this BBQ place.... Place was clean and nice.... Did not like having to get a key for bathroom use as you know it was filthy...

This place is good and the value is reasonable. My favorite thing is that they have soft serve as well as root beer in the soda dispensing machine. Recommended to anyone looking for ribs on a budget.

Was glad to see a BBQ place open up in the North end of S.F. Valley since the one five blocks away closed on Reseda about 2 yrs. ago.(Rogers Rib Shack). The Bear Pit and Hogley Wogleys have outlived my interest and sometimes you just don't always want to drive somewhere and wait for take out like at Stonefire Grill or Wood Ranch BBQ or sit and eat in a nice restaurant where you might see someone you know! Dickey's is not inexpensive but they do offer free tiny ice cream cones and not just for the little ones. I do not like that the portions of meat are pre-measured and wrapped in little pieces of saran wrap but I guess it depends on what you order.
It is hard to find the parking lot behind as the driveways on Reseda Blvd., do not lead to an open parking area but rather are closed off to each other so best to enter from Nordhoff just west of Reseda Blvd., on a little street that shows you the correct parking lot for Dickeys.
Haven't been there in a few months but I do love BBQ food with good sauce.
Ribs were once fatty and once lean. Sandwiches are ok but the sides weren't that terrific. They do have family sized meals which you can compare to those offered by Wood Ranch or Stone Fire Grill.
