My husband and I stayed at the Mariposa Lodge for a couple of nights last week when we visited Yosemite National Park for a couple of days. The Mariposa Lodge is a nice place to stay in the small town of Mariposa, which is about a 50 minute drive to Yosemite. The lodge is not new or fancy with extra frills, but it is clean and comfortable and nice and we were pleased with our room. The grounds are neat and well maintained and nice as well. We did have to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs to get to our room and there is no ramp (at least that we saw), but we are quite capable of doing that, but if that is a consideration, one could request a room without stairs when making reservations. Our room was large and had a coffee pot with coffee, tea, cream and sugar offered, microwave and refrigerator (which was not cold when we arrived, but once turned on cooled just fine). The air conditioner was a little bit loud but worked fine and the lights in the bathroom were a bit warm, which I imagine helps in the winter. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is a nice place to stay to rest and relax after a long day of hiking in Yosemite and care was obviously taken in preparing the room. The Mariposa Lodge is a lovely little lodge in a lovely little town and we were quite pleased with our stay there.

Room Tip: To access some rooms, one must climb a flight of stairs.

Stayed with family for one night while we was visiting Yosemite national park. It’s about 40mins drive away from Yosemite in mariposa which is a cute little town, it has a few restaurants and shops. The lodge has a pool and hot tub and free parking. The room was a good size, we had 2 double beds, a shower, TV and fridge. It also has a hair dryer, coffee maker and wardrobe. Nice comfortable and clean room. There’s free WiFi too! I’d stay again!

Our room was very comfortable. The motel was an older one and a bit dated but very clean and well maintained. It had a small pool and I believe a hot tub as well that we did not use. Landscaping was very nice. No elevators...outside stairs. The fridge was turned off so we turned it on and it took quite a while for it to get cold.

Room Tip: Choose a first floor if you don't want to walk up the stairs.

Stayed here the one night, no single rooms available so stayed in one of the apartments. Which we shared with our friends. Everything was fine clean and tidy. Chelsea on reception was friendly and helpful. This is something we haven’t found when trying to book in to some other hotels on route. All in all good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Wouldn't be my choice, but lodging near the park is difficult to find if you haven't sevured it MONTHS in advance.
This was in the quiet town of Mariposa, about 45 minutes from the Yosemite gate.
The hotel provided BASIC amenities, was clean but not up to "Marriott" standards.
It did provide WIFI, and the bed was comfortable.
