This is a clean, updated and wonderful hotel. We had a corner fireplace king with a balcony and nice view. Room was quiet, oversized, and had a fireplace that turned on with a switch. Bed was comfortable. A small, high table in front of the couch acted as a desk, but the room is so large that a second, traditional desk would be a nice addition. Highly recommended!

The staff that received us in the afternoon at around 3/4pm were absolutely fantastic. Not only were they friendly but they were quick and efficient at checking us in which is important after a three hour drive. The room we stayed in had a working fireplace and a balcony with a pretty view. A great add in is the hotel parking has a direct elevator into the hotel lobby.

The breakfast has a nice variety of options, yogurt, pastries, cereals, and hot food as well. I also like that they have different milk options like almond and soy milk.

The hotel is at a 10 minute walk from all the restaurants and bars or you can Uber (plenty in the area). And a 15 minute drive to the aquarium.

Definitely will stay here again.

Affordable, but all the feel of a Marriott. Parking garage with direct access to room. Rooms
are large and attractive. Best breakfast of any free breakfast place I have ever stayed.
Many travels to Monterey and this is the place I choose to stay every time!
