We only had one night and wanted a beachfront hotel. The hotel is right across the street (mostly just a parking area so not a busy road) from the beach. We arrived a bit early for check in. but our room was ready! (They also offered to hold our luggage if it wasn't ready) Our room was lovely. Big comfy bed, fireplace, daybed, jetted tub, and walk in shower. I loved that the bath area was down a few steps. It was such a homey feel. We were pretty tired from our Disney visit so we went to bed early and it was very quiet all night. We also slept in and missed the breakfast. There are many shops, restaurants, etc all within a short walking distance. This part of Newport Beach is just the best. I wish we had a few more days of our beach stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying at this lovely hotel again.

The location was great, and the remodel was very nicely done. It is a small hotel with small rooms. We had one of the bigger rooms and it was great. There is an overhead light right outside the door in front of our room that was very bright, but it was ok. Lots of stairs, no elevator. It is not handicap friendly, but if you are able to walk stairs it is a nice little hotel. The continental breakfast was nothing fancy, Muffins, English Muffins, Bagels, Bread, hard boiled eggs and cereal. But it was fair for the price. Lots of little restaurants and pubs in walking distance. Great food in the area. Would definitely consider staying here again.

We spent other nights at Four Sisters connected 'luxury' inns for the $400+ a night (plus $20 parking) we paid and were shocked when we arrived. We planned on traveling the coast and wanted a suite so booked here for a quick NB over-night stay. Our room was ready a bit earlier than check-in which was nice (once we found someone). Meager amount of furniture for a suite. The worst was an overwhelming, sickly sweet smell of air freshener that must commonly be used to cover up odors of previous guests. We became ill, left and didn't return for six hours in order to get some fresh air. The smell by then was still obvious and a/c didn't help so we slept with the ceiling fan on. Next morning we had the mediocre breakfast and immediately left. The folks are fine, the beach is close - otherwise our mistake for booking. Oh, and my card was totally run the day before arrival. (I checked the next inn and they said each place being individually owned they never do that.) Won't happen again and Four Sisters hope you are well paid for the (poor) marketing connection.

Room Tip: Side may be quieter depending on clientele unless you want to party.

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience, and for your kind comments regarding our staff and location. Please know that we truly strive to ensure a wonderful experience for our guests, and I am dismayed at your disappointment. I very much wish I could have addressed your issues while you were visiting with us as I am confident we could have found a room that better met your needs. We strive to have our hotel policies and amenities clearly stated on the confirmation, as well as the website, as they do differ slightly between properties. We hope you will choose to stay at one of our other locations in the future.
Warmly,

The staff and owner of this property are all really fantastic people. I was a bit concerned when I walked in as the noise from the two bars next door was really loud. But - I didnt get woken up once over a 4 night stay over the weekend. I was with my 9 year old so we were in bed fairly early and still no sound bugged us.

As the pics clearly show, at least some of the rooms dont have windows. We didnt mind as both the 2nd floor and main levels had common areas with seating to sit with a drink or breakfast and look over the beach. Breakfast is decent with some healthy options which I found refreshing.

TV had tons of channels, beds were comfy, and the amount of beach stuff (chairs, towels, toys, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc) you could use for free was fantastic.

The location is great.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
The room is super clean. And although our room although super clean and cute, it only had a very tiny window that could not be opened because it looked out over the next buildings loud generator (not much the hotel can do about that). I think most of the other rooms would have been fine but ours was hot because of it.
