My husband and I stayed here for the night to enjoy the cooler weather in Ventura and area. We got there early and our room was not ready but they called around 1 oclock when it was. It was on the first floor, which we requested, and was very nice, clean room. Great bed and bedding, and nice furniture, along with micro-wave and fridge. They were having some sort of get together for a motorcycle club there in the lobby, and some of the bikers decided to leave the hotel at 2 AM on their LOUD motorcycles, and woke us up, because we were in the front of the hotel.
The breakffast area was different from any other we've seen It was actually a STARBUCKS, with a few breakfasts to choose from. You stood in line to order breakfast and then waited for them to bring it out, and it was NOT included in your room cost. Also, the starbucks breakfast food was only available FOR BREAKFAST, and then they only served coffees afterward.

The day we were set to arrive I called ahead to let them know we would be arriving late, after 10PM, and to not give out our PREPAID KING BED ROOM. They said they made notes in the acct and there would be no problem. When we arrived at 10:30PM we were told all King Rooms were occupied and the ONLY room left was on the 2nd floor and there was no elevator. For two disabled seniors that was not a good thing. To top it off- we were not credited our Marriott Bonvoy points.

This is an older much different style courtyard inn with balconies on all rooms and some very long hallways. Actually looks as though it was rebranded from another marque and refurbished. Location is all the way in the rear of a large business complex with high rise buildings in front and a bit difficult to find with GPS which takes you to the complex entrance only.
Refurbishing is nice, fairly modern, and nice open central courtyard. The first room I was sent to I couldn’t enter because the inside door lock evidently “falls into lock mode” per the front desk and the door can’t open. (They knew of this problem with some rooms). The second room was a long long walk. The room was nice, modern, and fairly large compared to many , but the sink had an under counter leak and if you ran water too long you got wet feet! The alarm clock/radio was broken, and no power to the bedside usb either.
I’d stay here again due to convenience to the freeway and a huge restaurant/entertainment complex a mile away, but they really need maintenance and housekeeping to coordinate and get things fixed.

We are frequent Marriott hotel attendees and this was our first poor experience on our 4 night stay. The staff were friendly but housekeeping poor. Each day we had to ask for lotion and one day when we arrived back our room had not been cleaned. When we contacted the front desk we were told since we had a sign on the door past 8:00 am no housekeeping is done! We are frequent travelers and have NEVER experienced this. We were told they would get in touch with the manager but we never heard anything! Very disappointing for the Marriott chain.

Fine Courtyard, good staff. A bit more of a traditional hotel in layout than the typical courtyard. Rooms were fine, but with some very funky design features, such as oddly angled cabinets. Dining area is standard Courtyard.

We appreciate you staying with us while in the Oxnard/Ventura area and sharing your experience with other travelers.

We remodeled our rooms a couple of years ago and followed the Marriott Brand Standards for Courtyard hotels. That included all of the furniture in the room, wall paper, linens, etc.

The location of the property and in addition to our Bistro that serves breakfast and dinner, allows our guests to also visit a couple of restaurants within walking distance as well as "The Collection" shopping area, where you can find many different restaurants, bar, comedy club as well as great shopping.
