Pros: Room was clean on arrival. Bed was comfortable (one queen, no sags or lumps). Quiet ambiance. Bedroom had wooden shutters over the windows providing good room darkening and privacy. Windows opened and closed easily. Room included a compact fridge.
Cons: not enough parking spaces to accommodate each guest (hotel was full during my stay). Complimentary brown bagged “breakfast” consisted of one cheap danish, a badly bruised apple and a breakfast bar. Room had a coffee maker but the prepackaged coffee was terrible. The front office had a coffee machine with many selections, however.

I love the location. The Wi-Fi works well and the rooms are clean. The beach is a short walk one way and downtown is Pacific Grove is a short walk the other way. in my opinion, they are doing a very good job keeping the rooms clean so I feel safe. I will return soon.

Tired of the inland heat, I headed to Pacific Grove and this nice quiet hotel was perfect. Very clean, convenient drive up / park in front of my room and in the morning the cheerful sounds of various birds was quite pleasant. Walkable to the ocean.

I was staying one night in town and stayed at Wilkie Inn. Convenient checkin. Room was clean, good mattress. Not a lot of frills but wasn't expecting much. TV, coffee maker, fridge, good with me. I was leaving too early for the generic breakfast but the hotel clerk gave me some snacks that evening. I wasn't expecting the ritz and it worked out great.

This hotel is horrible! Walls are as thin as tissue paper. You can hear people with just a simple conversation. They will scam you and charge your card extra, say the provide breakfast and not, ac/heater did not work, patched holes in the walls, black hair in bathroom left from previous guests and their pillows are so small and thin it feels like you are sleeping on a folded T-shirt.
The Indian man who represents himself as the manager told me my initials were not good enough on the paper and wanted me to resign. Told me if I didn’t he would charge me $250. With covid I was trying to not touch their pens or desks that did not looked like the whipped down.
This hotel is not worth the headache. STAY ELSEWHERE!
