Place is phenomenal.
The staff is professional, kind, and efficient. They offered me a discounted rate, switched me to a better room and offered so many little amenities like snacks and drinks.
The cottages are clean, warm and so cozy. The property itself is immaculate and the town is such a refreshing calm from Monterey and downtown Carmel.

I booked this trip last minute, and it could not have been better. The weather was perfect and our staying at Andrew’s Fireplace Cottages was perfect. They were welcoming, and the cottage was clean,neat,spacious and homey. My kids enjoyed the hot tub used by single parties only and our dog enjoyed the grassy area to run and play and the cottage patio for freedom. The kids checked out a few DVD’s but the TV had plenty of free cable channels too. The fireplace added a special feeling to the cool night and with had plenty of a available fire wood. We enjoyed some free snacks and breakfast items. The kitchen was fully equipped if we decided to cook.
I recommend this place and looking forward to staying over again.
What a wonderfully quaint and cozy place to visit when you want to enjoy the Monterey area. Perfect for a get away with your family and your dog. Easy walking distance to the beach. The cottages have all the amenities you need and are spacious and very charming.
Lovely, clean rooms with ample space. This was our first trip with our dog and I was impressed by how respectful guests were of each other -- keeping their dogs quiet and well-behaved. Lots of opportunities to walk in the neighborhood or go to the beach. On our morning walks we often saw deer and many birds.
We have been coming here for close to thirty years. So many updates and up grades. They have certainly kept with the times! Quiet and clean cottages. Staff is so friendly. Always our first choice to stay, close to so much!
Outstanding in all aspects. Room was spacious, clean, inviting, and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Just perfect. Location is ideal. The grounds are charming. Our grandson and dog both loved the small park. Could not have been better.
