Five of us longtime women friends stayed in Rancho Reposo to celebrate an 80th birthday. There was a lot of room for all of us - we could have brought a bunch of grandkids! The house is casual, not fancy, but clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Many of us have stayed here before, and we definitely will again — really a great place to stay at reasonable price in a beautiful area.

This was our first stay here. First of all, the staff is wonderful! The fireplace cottages are very comfortable and clean. The bed was amazing. The grounds are immaculate. The location is within walking distance of Asilomar Beach. We had our two golden retrievers with us and there are lots of places to walk them.
Recently spend 5 days there with another couple. Had a 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage w/full kitchen, living room w/couch and 2 chairs and a very nice patio area. Was very comfortable, extremely clean and kitchen was well stocked even tho we did not use it. Had plenty of firewood on patio for the fireplace which we enjoyed. Not a fan of their beds tho; little too firm for my taste but other than that, place was perfect! We did have a slight issue with our furnace one night but they promptly brought portable heaters to our room until problem could be fixed next morning.
We have been looking for a good place to stay on our visits to Pacific Grove. Andril Fireplace Cottages hit all of the wanted items on the list. Roomy main room. Good size bathroom, easy to move around in bath for both of us. Attached patio so we can open the door and our dog can sit in the sun. Nice kitchen area with standard microwave, coffee maker, fridge and a toaster! Cups, glasses, plates and silverware were unexpected and all sparkling clean. Making food prepping easy. The best bed ever so comfortable we didn’t want to get up. Recliners in front of gas fireplace with large screen tv above. A cedar lined closet , dvd Libary in office for our use.
.They have grab and go food in lobby all day. All the people taking care of the check in and out were very friendly including their dogs .
We will be going there again, soon I hope. Location is great close to beach, public golf course , Pebble Beach.
We have had family reunions here and I have enjoyed staying here solo. I grew up here and have tried a few other places but by far this has been the best I’ve had the pleasure of staying at. Everyone here is very welcoming and go above and beyond when it comes to your comfort. I have several reservations for the next few months. It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach which I love to go walking and see the sun rise and set each day.
I’ve been staying at the Andril for many years. Probably almost 30 years now. Back in the day it was quaint but fun due to the cottages with fireplaces, situated so perfectly in Pacific Grove, der running by, golfers around the bend. Now they’ve updated it, but it still has that Mom& Pop charm. You won’t find a nicer location to Asilomar. Next best thing to Heaven!
