We rented #103, which has a separate living room. Large screen tv in living room and bedroom. Separate thermostat in living room and bedroom. Comfortable king size bed. Overhead lights, plus lamps. Good wifi. Needs new carpet and sofa, but other things have been updated. Breakfast is listed as 'continental,' but they have a waffle machine. We had a couple minor issues,and the mgr was quick to come by and fix them.More

We have been staying here for our annual family trip for 5 years now. We love staying at the Rosedale Inn. The breakfast is always nice to have and the staff is friendly. I will say our room needed some repairs. There was a broken tile in front of our kitchenette and the tub had a few spots that that need to be recoated as well. We're not too picky so things like that don't bother us to much, but it would probably be a benefit to the hotel to fix some of these issues. We look forward to staying here every year and can't wait until our next trip.
Sink in wet bar area had lumps of food in drain, coffee pot had not been cleaned, food particles on floor between bed and nightstand, took very long for hot water and then still just warm, and tub in bad need of replacement. Screen not attached to window, which was found open when we got there. Bed was comfortable but worrisome about cleanliness all around.

Clean and comfy large room with all the amenities required. We loved the well stocked communal breakfast area at Rosedale and enjoyed chatting with other customers. The best value stay during our three weeks in California.
We reserved two rooms at Rosedale Inn for my family to spend our time at the Pacific Grove beach. The Inn ia just across the Asilomar Conference Center. The environment was nice and quiet. The room was comfortable and warmed up quickly due to the quite heating system and the gas fireplace.. We went to the beach through the Conference Center’s walkways and had a very nice time. The breakfast was more than we expected.. The only thing that needed attention was the black stain in the bathtub!
The property is not an Inn but a cottage style accomodation, which is fine but not what we were expecting. Having said that, the lounge area and the bedroom area were of good size and clean. But, the carpet was frayed, stained and absolutely in need of replacment. The join between the room and the bathroom was so frayed the ply underneath was exposed. The nails that were hammered down, but exposed, managed to scatch my foot in the middle of the night! Not pleasant - told and showed Robert from the front desk and he said he would pass it on to the maintenance management. We were there 6 days and nothing was done! On the plus side, it was clean and the breakfast selection was limited but plentiful.
