Monterey Bay is dotted with inns along its coast and I knew I had to stay in one the next time I visited the area. The Old St. Angela Inn is a beautiful Inn full of delightful character. During my stay I booked the room labeled "Whale Watch" - a beautiful room with a 2nd floor balcony view of the ocean.
The owner, Angela, is one of the warmest people you will ever meet and makes you feel very welcome. The breakfast served is superb, and it is top quality while also feeling home-cooked. I also feel like we got a warmer and more intimate experience because the Inn is run by Angela and her family. Other Inns appear to be more corporate and impersonal. Know that if you stay here, you are supporting a great small business while giving yourself an unforgettable experience.More
