I had a separate cottage and had hoped for quiet nights. On the first night, a large group gathered out on the common area in front of my space and talked/laughed into the night. There was also a restaurant next door in back of my space (110A) that had loud music, but quit early.

No breakfast. Average room. No fan or method of drowning out noise. Ear plugs were ineffective.

First and last stay here.

We stayed at the Sea Breeze Inn because our original hotel choice was booked one of the three nights we were staying in Pacific Grove. We stayed in the cutest cottage with an apple tree next to it (#113) that seemed to have been recently updated with fresh paint, new bed and bedding, a fireplace and blackout curtains for the many windows. It also had a nice kitchenette that had all the essentials for cooking, if you chose to. It would be perfect place to stay for a work trip if you needed a place for a week or two! TJ was the hotel manager and was very kind, after a nightmare stay at The Lighthouse Inn (they get their own review!) we went back to the Sea Breeze the next morning and told TJ we were thinking of staying another night in Pacific Grove, but only if the Sea Breeze had vacancy. TJ found us another cottage and since it was available, let us check in right then instead of waiting until 3:00. It was really nice to not have to worry about our luggage in our car for the whole day of being out and about! We are already recommending the Sea Breeze to all of our friends and a couple of them have already been. Staff was very nice and accommodating in room cleaning, extra pillow, etc. Give the Sea Breeze a chance, it's really nice!

Having stayed at Sea Breeze for the previous 3 visits during Car Week Monterey, i was looking forward to 2022 and booked the room in January 2022 for August show. noticed that it was about 20% more then last year but figured was due to Car week where all the area hotels charge 3 times regular rate. this year we discovered that room cleaning was sparse to non existent and no breakfast pack and go as before. both blamed on Covid and work shortage. even paying $450 night, very under staffed and the on site manager was worthless. our room and others we very under staffed and the on site manager was worthless. our room and others were not cleaned the day before check out and surely to cut costs. many unhappy guests. we found out the place sold after long term prior owners. terrible experience and will not return. dont waste your money here ,pick another hotel.
