In the Metropolitan D.C. area we miss Burmese food with its unique tastes and flavors. On a visit to our niece in the bay area, we welcomed the chance to eat at this popular restaurant.
The traditional tea leaf salad is really a must. We sampled several dishes asking our group, the iconic Kawt Swe, calamari, fish, chicken tofu, garlic noodles, Burmese Indian rice. All were delicious and appreciated by everyone.
The restaurant is overcrowded, with hardly any space between tables. The high level of noise makes conversation difficult. Situated in a busy area with several restaurants, parking may be difficult especially weekends. Reservation is recommended always.

I had just arrived in Palo Alto for a business trip and wanted to try a good and nearby restaurant so took a look at the best Asian restaurants of Palo Alto and found that one as #2 or 3 I think. Very nice staff. I took the garlic noodles (as a side as recommended by the lady, because the main was very big - and the size of the side was totally decent) and sticky rice for desert. Highly recommend it, really good. I said I didn't want the ice cream that comes with the sticky rice, and I appreciate that they gave me fresh fruits instead.

one of the few joints offering authentic burmese cuisine in palo alto..it is a go to place for the techies in the area..we visited for dinner a couple of times and on both the ocassions it was quite full, so i recommend a prior reservation..do try the really awesome green tea salad..they also can customise their dishes as per your taste..
